Decks can have maintenance issues over time. Often, we take them out and install a new patio using longer lasting materials. In this project, we took out a worn out deck and installed a custom Bluestone patio. The old deck was cramped, had rotten boards and was in disrepair. It was quickly cut up into pieces and hauled away. Excavation of the earth beneath the deck took place and the patio base was set.
A Brussels Block brick patio with an integrated gas fire pit and a decorative Copthorne inlay. The seat wall includes upgraded Unilock Fullnose caps and geometric cut pillar tops with Umbriano inserts. Landscape lighting to accent the seat wall and illuminate the patio beds for entertaining into the evening.
A Unilock Beacon Hill Flagstone paver patio with a Brussels Block border and a charcoal paver inlay to add contrast. The area under the Cedar pergola is finished with Unilock Artline Smooth pavers and the posts are wrapped in decorative pillars. The seat walls and fire pit are Unilock Lineo Dimensional units with Brussels Block XL caps. The fire pit area is finished with Mississippi stone.

A professional string light system with warm and dimmable Edison-style bulbs and custom black steel posts for support.
A Unilock Artline Smooth paver patio with a Brussels Block Half Stone inlay along the border. Decorative Olde Quarry Stone seat walls with Brussels Block caps and raised planting beds to add color and seasonal interest. A privacy fence and gate to help finish this intimate space.
